Installing an expansion anchor:
Drill a hole in the wall material large and deep enough to allow the barrel of the anchor to fit snuggly but not so large that the head of the sleeve has no support. Clear debris from the hole and tap the anchor in place using a hammer. Make sure the bolt and barrel are tight against the wall surface and the teeth in the collar are engaged in the wall material to hold it in place.
Use a screwdriver to turn the bolt until the sleeve expands and tightens against the inside of the wall. Push hard against the bolt head as you turn to keep the teeth engage and don't allow the anchor to turn or the teeth will rip through the wall surface and weaken the installation.
Turn until the anchor is good and tight and then remove the screw to install brackets, hangers etc.

Timber

Made from reclaimed scaffold boards. Large / wide boards jointed using biscuits and high-strength glue. Each piece is hand-cut, sanded, and treated for each order, preserving the timber's natural markings for a unique style. If we need to, we use wood filler to fix big and small gaps, cracks, and holes while keeping a rustic look.

As wood is a natural product, it can vary in cracks, grain, and other features. Movements like shrinkage, swelling, and cracking are normal and not considered defects, hence not covered by the lifetime guarantee. Environmental factors such as seasons, temperatures, and humidity may cause adjustments, which we cannot be responsible for.

Powder coating

If you would like your metal item coloured, please purchase this at the same time, stating the colour that you would like from the options above.
This is a fixed price regardless of size, as the bulk of the cost is in the curing time & and cleaning of equipment.

Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. Unlike conventional liquid paint which is delivered via an evaporating solvent, powder coating is typically applied electrostatically and then cured under heat.
Because no carrier fluid evaporates away, the coating process emits a few volatile organic compounds (VOC).
It is usually used to create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint.

What kind of wood is rustic?

Pine, oak, and reclaimed wood are popular choices for crafting rustic furniture due to their natural appearance and durability. These woods showcase knots, grain patterns, and imperfections that enhance the rustic charm of furniture pieces.

What is the meaning of distressed wood?

“Distressing” wood generally means weathering it by hand, using tools or chemicals to add enough imperfections to provide age and character, but not so many that it becomes unusable. Distressed wood can add a rustic aesthetic to a room.
